KennOres Supported Accommodation is committed to providing high-quality support for vulnerable young people through Solo Living supported accommodation. Our mission is to enhance and maintain their quality of life, fostering independence and personal growth. KennOres is in the process of being registered and regulated by both Ofsted and CQC, ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
KennOres Supported Accommodation aims to provide looked-after young people with a safe and nurturing environment that promotes empowerment, independence, and choice, while equipping them with the skills to enhance their core living abilities. We strive to help service users become as independent as possible and progress through the final stages of the care continuum, always prioritising their dignity and privacy, and ensuring they are treated with respect throughout their journey to full independent living.
At KennOres Supported Accommodation, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone can thrive. While each of our homes is unique, our policies, procedures, beliefs, and values are consistent across the community, and we work hard to achieve the best possible outcomes for all the young people who come to live with us.

To achieve these key principles, practice in our home is shaped around the following:

Safety and Security
Implementing strong safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our young people. Carrying out regular risk assessments of the physical environment and taking appropriate actions to address any safety concerns.

Voice and Advocacy
Adopting a participatory approach that ensures our young people’s voices are actively heard and respected. Offering regular opportunities for our young people to share their opinions and influence decision-making processes.

Understanding and Effective Support
Performing detailed assessments of our young people’s needs, strengths, and preferences. Providing staff with training and continuous professional development to improve their understanding of our young people’s backgrounds, experiences, and needs.

Personal Space and Accommodation
Offering a personalised bedroom or living space that ensures privacy, comfort, and a sense of ownership for our young people. Maintaining a clean, well-kept, and stable accommodation environment that complies with health and safety standards.
